Uploading your photos

How do I upload my photos to PPG?

If you are uploading for the first time:

  1. Sign in to your PPG user account
  2. Click on "Create new Album" button
  3. Choose a name for your Album
  4. Click "Continue" to Upload screen
  5. Click "Browse" button and choose the photos to upload from your computer
  6. You can select multiple photos from your computer by simply dragging the selection or pressing
    shift or ctrl
  7. Once you have selected your photos click "Upload"

For all Uploads after the first time:

  1. Sign in to your PPG user account
  2. From "My Albums" page, click "Add New Album"
  3. Select "Create new Album" and type in a name for your Album OR choose to add photos to an
    existing Album by selecting that Album
  4. Click "Upload " button
  5. Click "Browse" button and choose the photos you want to upload from your computer
  6. You can select multiple photos from your computer by simply dragging the selection or pressing
    shift or ctrl
  7. Once you have selected your photos click "Upload" button
  8. Other upload options include Email your photos to images@photoprintsandgifts.com
  9. Go to www.photoprintsandgifts.mobi and upload and share via mobile cam
  10. If you have photos in Flickr, Picasa, you can import them to your account at PPG. Sign in and click on the upload icon in the home page (right hand top corner). Create a new album and then click on the ‘Add pictures’ link on the right hand side. In the subsequent pages you have options to import images from Flickr, Picasa, Pageflakes, Blogger and Google.

How long does it take to upload photos?

There are many factors that influence upload time, including the speed of your connection and the size of
your photos. The faster your Internet connection, the less time it will take to upload your photos. During the
upload process we will provide you with an "Estimated time left" for your upload. Remember - do not refresh
or leave the upload page while the upload is in progress. Clicking on any link or button on that page during
the Upload process will interrupt the upload.

What format do my photos need to be in order to upload them to PPG?

You can upload the following types of digital photos from your computer to your PPG account:
.jpg or .jpeg

What if I don't have a digital camera, can I still store my photos on PPG?

Currently, you can only store photos on PPG that are uploaded to your account via the PPG website.
However, we hope to soon add the ability for you to mail photos to the nearest PPG ScanPoint or
undeveloped film to an authorized PPG color lab and have them posted to your account.

How can I import my photos from Picasa or Flickr?

If you have photos in Flickr, Picasa, you can import them to your account at PPG.

  1. Sign in and click on the upload icon in the home page (right hand top corner).
  2. Create a new album and then click on the ‘Add pictures’ link on the right hand side.
  3. In the subsequent page you have options to import images from Flickr, Picasa, Pageflakes, Blogger and Google
  4. When prompted, sign in to your Picasa or Flickr account
  5. Choose the sets you would like imported to PPG and click the "Import" button
